WHO WE ARE

GroverHQ ("we", "us") is a company based in India. Contact: [email protected].

THE SHORT VERSION

GroverHQ Camera Viewer works entirely on your TV and your local network. We do not collect your personal information. The app does not send your data to us or to any server run by us - we do not run any servers for this app.

WHAT THE APP HANDLES ON YOUR TV

• Camera details: the IP address, port, username and password of a camera or recorder that you enter or select. If you choose "Save this camera", they are stored on this TV only. Saved passwords are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are written to the TV's storage.
• Video: streamed directly from your camera or recorder to your TV, decoded and shown on screen. The app does not record, save, upload or share video.
• Network scan: when you press Scan, the app checks addresses on your own local network for cameras. The results are shown on screen only.
• App settings: whether you accepted these documents, whether the paid unlock is active, and which devices refused a login. These are stored on this TV only.

WHAT LEAVES YOUR TV

Nothing is sent to us. The app connects only to the cameras and recorders you choose (using RTSP and ONVIF), at the address you enter or select.

PURCHASES

If you buy the paid unlock, the payment is handled entirely by Samsung Checkout. We never see your card or payment details. To connect your purchase to your Samsung account (so it can be restored after a reinstall or on another TV), the app passes your Samsung account identifier to Samsung Checkout and to nobody else. We use it only for that purpose, we do not store it or send it anywhere else, and it travels over a secure connection. Samsung's privacy policy applies to the payment.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, no third-party advertising networks. The message strip at the bottom of the free version is fixed text stored inside the app.

CHILDREN

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

RETENTION AND DELETION

Everything the app stores is on your TV. Delete a saved camera in the app, or uninstall the app, and the data is removed.

CHANGES

If this policy changes in a material way, the app will ask you to read and accept it again.
