Terms of Use

1. ACCEPTANCE

By accepting these terms and using GroverHQ Camera Viewer ("the app") you agree to them. If you do not agree, please exit the app and uninstall it.

2. WHAT THE APP DOES

The app lets you watch live video from IP cameras and network video recorders on your own network, one stream at a time. It is a live viewer only: it does not record, play back or seek. It works with cameras that offer RTSP video (H.264 or H.265), and cannot be guaranteed to work with every camera or recorder.

3. FREE AND PAID USE

The free version plays the lower-resolution stream with a moving watermark. The paid unlock removes the watermark and allows the higher-resolution stream. The paid unlock is a monthly subscription sold through Samsung Checkout; the price, including any taxes, is shown in Samsung Checkout before you buy. It renews every month until you cancel it in your Samsung account's subscription settings. Payments, cancellations and refunds are handled by Samsung Checkout under Samsung's terms. Prices and features may change; a change to the subscription price will be shown by Samsung before you are charged.

4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You must use the app lawfully and read the Lawful Use Notice. You are responsible for the cameras you connect, for the security of your network and camera passwords, and for anything done with your TV.

5. NOT A SAFETY OR ALARM SYSTEM

Video may be delayed by several seconds and may fail or stop at any time. Do not rely on the app for security, alarms, life-safety, medical or any other critical purpose.

6. NO WARRANTY

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with your equipment.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from use of the app or from what is seen or not seen through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

8. CHANGES AND ENDING

We may update these terms or the app. If a change is material, the app will ask you to accept again. You may stop using the app at any time. We may stop offering the app or limit access if these terms are broken.

9. THIRD PARTIES

Samsung, Tizen and Samsung Checkout are trademarks of Samsung. GroverHQ is not part of Samsung. Camera brands and names belong to their owners.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mohali, Punjab have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have that cannot be excluded.
